Welcome to the Scioto County Career Technical Center's new website dedicated to community news and information! We hope to post interesting and informative articles and news items about our students, our programs, and more! Our goal is to provide our students, their parents and loved ones, and our community a one-stop location on the web where they can find information about upcoming events, news, and programs that we have to offer!

SkillsUSA

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. It is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations. Each local organization has its own unique traditions and specialized knowledge. Club advisors are Rick Stringer, Lynda Spittle, and Jay Miller.

“Students of the Month” are nominated by the Scioto County Career Technical Center teachers based upon each student’s daily attendance, classroom and lab performance, employability skills, and community service. Students receive a certificate, $10.00 gas card, and a pizza party at the end of the school year.
