Program Goals:  To enable the learners to become proficient in the use of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and the use of Plasma,  Oxyacetylene torch in cutting and brazing.  The student will be involved in some metal fabrication along with welding safety.

Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Welder D1.1
  • NCCER Welding Level 1
  • NCCER Welding Level 2
  • NCCER Core
  • OSHA Certification (10 hour)

*Enrollment is available once a year in the fall*

600 hours (6 months)

M-F          5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

Total Cost:              $5,835.00

Welding is the art of joining metals together.  The world’s infrastructure depends on welded materials.  It is the one of the most valuable technologies that played a huge part in the industrial revolution, and is the back bone to the world’s militaries.

This challenging training program teaches skills that can be used worldwide.
